Big Brother: Ronnie Turns and Braden is Evicted
Three words can be used to describe tonight’s “Big Brother:” Drama, drama, and more drama (okay, that is four words). Russell told Braden that Lydia threw him under the bus and Braden admitted he had a gut feeling it was her, which might work out well for Ronnie. Braden went off on Lydia, telling her she would be the next to go. Kevin was sitting with her in the courtyard and spoke up after Braden called her a “bitch” and a “skank,” causing Braden to push Kevin.
Lydia stormed into the house and yelled at Jordan because she teared up when Braden was nominated but didn’t when Lydia was nominated. Jordan tried to defend herself then started yelling at Lydia. Jeff came in from the yard to help Jordan and told Lydia that she sold them out even though they had the votes to save her. I loved the way Ronnie was calmly cleaning the kitchen while all this chaos and yelling was going on.
Jordan cooked up the scheme to save Braden by enlisting the help of Laura, Ronnie, Jeff, Michele, and Casey. Laura told Ronnie and he told her he thought he could control Michele, which will probably come as some surprise to her. Their main concern was not that Braden acted volatile this week but that they had to show the Athletes they weren’t in control of the house.
Casey was feeling powerful as the swing vote, but it was actually Ronnie that shook things up. After Braden said twice that everyone was “awesome” and that he had made his apologies, Chima made the best speech ever by saying everyone had a short memory because Braden called her friends names and was a bigot. The voting went as planned – Russell, Natalie, Kevin, and Lydia for Braden and Jeff, Jordan, Laura, Michele and Casey for Chima. Ronnie said in the voting room that he was going to hell because he was voting out Braden. I wonder how long it will take the anti-Athlete people to realize that Ronnie was the one that turned. Anyhow, with a tie, it went to Jessie’s vote and he ousted Braden.
The HOH competition was for the houseguests to guess America’s consensus as to a series of Most Likely To questions. One member from each clique would guess. If they got it right, they not only continued playing, but put out someone from another clique. Laura showed some promise by answering to questions correctly, but was eventually put out with a wrong answer. It came down to Michele and Ronnie with Ronnie winning HOH. Okay, maybe everyone will forget to figure out he was the vote traitor.
