Big Brother: Russell Wins HOH; Nominated Ronnie and Lydia for Eviction
“Big Brother” picked back up with the amusement park ride from hell. The contestants were still on the swing, being rained on and hit with the huge diploma, but they quickly started falling. Kevin was first out. He chose the gift box with $5,000 in it. Lydia was out next and chose the box with a 42” flat screen television. Jessie thought they were both slackers and dropped on purpose to get the prizes. Ronnie and Natalie dropped next, but their gift boxes contained nothing. The final box went to Jordan. She got a Have pass, but had to choose three people to be Have Nots for the week. She diplomatically pulled names from the hat, with Natalie, Jessie, and Kevin being the losers. America said they could have squid and squash as well as slop for the week. Fortunately for Natalie, she had a slop pass.
The HOH competition came down to Russell and Jeff. Jessie told Russell to ask Jeff for a deal. He did, eventually asking everyone to leave the courtyard. They decided in secret that they both wanted Ronnie to go up and Russell swore on his dad that he would not nominate Jeff or Jordan. Jeff fell off and after 3 hours and 38 minutes, Russell became the new HOH.
Russell had newfound respect for Jeff and the two stuck a secret deal. There was no mention of Jordan, so I wonder where she comes in. Jessie told Russell that he thought Lydia and Kevin should go on the block since they are floaters and trying to skate through the game. Lydia told Russell that Jessie and Natalie wanted to put him up before but couldn’t. He seemed to dismiss that. Ronnie came up to plead his case and asked if he was in danger, but Russell said no.
Ronnie pleaded to the camera for the mystery power and he may need it. Russell nominated Ronnie and Lydia for eviction. The look on Lydia’s face was priceless! Russell said he put Ronnie up because he overheard him talking about him to others. He also said Ronnie was a snake and he was the mongoose out to get the snake. Ronnie said he was a king cobra and sometimes that kills the mongoose. Maybe sometimes in the jungle Ronnie, but I don’t know about “Big Brother.”
