Biggest Loser: Coach Mo Leaves the Campus
There is evil on “Bigger Loser” and its name is Tracey. She won the wheel of fortune temptation. I loved that Mo described the wind blowing and the supernatural feeling when Tracey spun the wheel. It was time for Blue (Bob) vs. Black (Jillian) and Tracey’s win allowed her to pick teams and trainers. As you can imagine, no one was happy with that. While some teammates pleaded to stay together, Tracey separated everyone except her and Mo, who went to the Blue team and Daniel and Shay, who went to the Black team. Joining her and Mo on the Blue team were Allen, Liz (who was literally crying because of the separation), Rudy, and Rebecca. Joining Daniel and Shay on Black were Abby, Danny, Amanda, and Dina.
Everyone was upset and Liz almost killed herself during the workout trying to ensure Blue a win so they could send Tracey home. The Blue Team won the competition and got videos from home. Dina, who had had a hard time separating from partner Ruby, was really down about the switch, but he told her she needed to do things for herself, that this was a good change. When Rebecca tried to give Dina the video, she thanked her, but told her no, she had to do it on her own. However, Liz surprised Danny by telling him she wanted him to come and see her video and it was actually his family.
At the weigh in, Allen, Tracey, and Rebecca lost 7 pounds each while Mo lost 6 and Liz and Ruby lost 8 each. Over on the Black team, Abby lost 5 while Dina and Amanda lost 6 each. Danny lost 10, but that still put a bit of pressure on Shay and Daniel. They each had to lose about 9.5 pounds. Daniel lost 11 and Shay lost 16, so Blue had to eliminate someone.
As someone said, Mo threw himself on the sword. He knew everyone wanted Tracey to go, but he also knew that as a team player, he couldn’t do that. He was having knee problems and not losing weight like he should, so he asked them to vote for him and keep Tracey. And, they listened! Mo came to the ranch weighing 355 and now weighs 279 – he is down 76 pounds.
