Biggest Loser Couples: Blaine Goes Home
This week on Biggest Loser Couples, the teams faced a Pop Challenge – to stand on a block with one foot. Who ever lasted the longest got to have a loved one at the ranch for 24 hours. Mandi ended up winning after several people dropped out so she could see her husband. Jillian was not happy – she was afraid it would prove to be more of a distraction than anything.
The challenge was for a team to work together, holding a bar above another bar without touching it. The winners got immunity. After more than four and half long hours, Kristin and Cathy won it.
It was a good thing Kristin and Cathy won immunity because they would have been under the yellow line had they not. Cathy lost 4 pounds, but Kristin gained 2. Aubrey only lost 1 pound, but with Mandi’s 6, they barely managed to stay alive in the game. The big losers were Mike (13 pounds), Sione (11 pounds), and Filipe (10 pounds). Falling below the yellow line were Blaine and Dane.
Blaine asked to go home – he wanted to see his new baby. But, the teams argued whether to go with their heart and respect Blaine’s wishes or go with game play and send Dane, the stronger of the two, home. Everyone voted for Blaine except Mike and Ron, who voted for Dane.
Blaine went home and so far has lost 86 pounds. He hopes to complete an Ironman marathon before the finale.
