Biggest Loser Couples Contestant Arrested
This week, Biggest Loser Couples premiered and almost half of the contestants were sent home to try to lose weight there. One contestant that returned home, Shanon Thomas, must have got a bit of a workout when she tussled with her tenant during the holidays.
On December 16th, Thomas screamed at her tenant to turn down his television, then broke some Christmas tree bulbs and ended up throwing flour in his face. Well, at least she didn’t eat it!
The Center Line, Michigan police arrested Thomas on charges of domestic violence, but she insisted that Michael Nolden had thrown a pan at her. Nolden has moved out of the apartment since then.
Thomas has had at least one other run-in with the law. In 2004, she was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. She pleaded guilty and was fined and put on 12 months probation. She faces up to 93 days in jail for the domestic violence charge.
