Biggest Loser Couples: Dan is Eliminated
Jillian was hurt to find that Brittany was gone and swore to keep her remaining Black team member (Kelly). Allison told the players to meet her in the elimination room in 5 minutes. Once there, they found out they had a pop quiz. Dan won and for that, he got…a piece of chocolate cake. He was told he could eat it or bring the piece of cake intact with him to the challenge. It was funny watching him wag the piece of cake around, but even funnier when Roger stole it and left a ransom note from Kelly.
At the challenge, the players were to take one piece of bad stadium food at a time and place if on a table with another player’s name. They did this for 20 minutes and the person with the least calories won $10,000. Dan could put his 600-calorie piece of cake on anyone’s table before they started – he chose Kelly. The guys decided to gang up on the girls – they didn’t have a chance. In the end, there were 400 calories difference between Jay and Roger, with Jay just barely winning. But, Allison had another offer – trade the $10,000 for a 1 pound pass. Jay, who had been under the yellow line by one pound last week, could wait until weigh-in to decide.
After thinking about it and talking to Roger, Jay decided to cash in the $10k for the 1 pound pass. I don’t know if he really needed it – he lost 5 pounds on his own. Mark lost 4, Roger lost 6, then Dan got on the scale. One pound – one lousy pound. He had taken bites of the stadium food while running around – maybe he shouldn’t have done that. Ali lost 6 pounds and it all came down to Kelly. Dan knew if there were a girl under the yellow line, the guys would save him. But, Kelly lost 7 pounds (what miracle THAT was) and tonight was the worst nightmare come true for the Blue team - Mark and Dan both under the yellow line.
The teams decided to send Dan home, which sucked. He was my pick to win (I now switch to Roger) and this was his first time under the yellow line. But he did go home and lost another 13 pounds so maybe he can be the winner for the eliminated players.
