Biggest Loser Couples: Jackie is Eliminated
This episode started out with Jillian annoyed with the Black team for not eating the proper diet and calorie count. They could have made up calories at the food challenge – it was to eat the most chocolate covered caramels. They were only 26 calories each, but there were 100 laid out on a table for each contestant. The winner could choose one person from his team to exchange for someone on the other team. Mark was determined to win to keep the teams the same and he did, by eating 43 caramels (that’s 1,118 calories). Brittany ate 15, but once she found out Mark won, she threw up. Mark was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his shin and was told to not run, walk on the treadmill, or use the elliptical equipment.
Dan was the Biggest Loser of the Week last week and ran up the hill to get his prize. Rather than being offered luxury, game play, or family, all his cards said family. He stood there looking confused for a minute until his brother Joe came out. They eventually went and found Jackie.
For the challenge, the teams cooked a dinner for famed chef Rocco Dispirito. They were to use his recipes, only make them healthier. He said each team presented good dishes, so he had to break it down somehow. Because the Black team used only 787 calories, as opposed to the Blue team’s 1,177, he chose them as the winners. They got videos from home, which was nice for everyone but Paul. Kelly’s boyfriend came on saying how much he loved her and Paul said it hurt to see him say that to “my wife.” Kelly had to remind him she wasn’t his wife anymore, but in the end, they both agreed they loved each other, they just couldn’t be married.
At the weigh-in, the Blue team looked strong as usual. Even with the leg injury, Mark lost the most with 9 pounds. Everyone, but Jackie put up decent numbers – she only lost two pounds. But the Black team meant business this week – Paul lost 12, Bernie lost 13, and even Brittany lost 10 pounds, and the Black team won.
Jackie has been playing the game the whole time and went around asking the guys if it was okay to send Trent home because he was homesick. She even asked Trent, who agreed. Mark and Jay swore on their kid’s lives that they wouldn’t change their votes, but you had to know when the time came, they were going to vote for Jackie. She has tried to play everyone for too long and everyone but Dan voted for her. She kept telling Mark and Jay they swore on their kid’s lives and Dan said he felt he couldn’t trust them anymore. Jackie went home and lost another 24 pounds – she now weights 176.
