Biggest Loser Couples: Sione Leaves the Ranch
This week, there was a lot of animosity at the Biggest Loser ranch due to last week’s voting. Ron and Mike were angry with Helen, Filipe, and Sione for voting against Ron last week. Kristin tried to stay in the middle and Laura and Tara seemed in their own little world. The show did play up Ron’s image as the house Godfather. I dunno, I’ve always felt like Ron tries to sit back and dictate what goes on in the house. I think he’s a big game player.
The Temptation Challenge was to go through 100 silver trays to find money or the ultimate prize – the sole vote at this week’s elimination table. The only problem was they had to go through a lot of fatty foods to get there. Laura alone ate over 4,000 calories. Ron, Laura, and Felipe all found some money, but it was Laura that found the golden ticket. Her vote would decide who went home.
Jerry and Coleen from a few seasons ago showed up and they have been able to maintain their weight loss. The challenge was to walk up and down steps – of the Rose Bowl stadium! Everyone competed, but Sione and Tara finished first, so they had to square off against each other. Tara beat him and won the prize of a two week vacation for four to St. George, Utah.
Tara and Laura toyed with the thought of Tara taking it easy since Laura could save her if she fell below the yellow line, but everyone, especially Jillian, felt that was a bad idea. At the weigh-in, everyone was in single digits. Tara only lost 3 pounds, but she was safe as Sione and Helen fell below the yellow line.
Laura decided to vote Sione out of the house. He went home and is working toward becoming a certified personal trainer.
