Biggest Loser Couples Starts Jan. 6th
The latest installment of Biggest Loser Couples premieres on NBC on January 6th, but how have biggest loser contestants in the past fared? Some contestants have not kept off the weight. Season 1 winner Ryan gained all his weight back, according to trainer Bob Harper. Others from Season 1 have been more successful in maintaining their weight. When interviewed for a special before Season 4 started, Andrea reported losing an additional 5 pounds while Kelly Mac only gained 9 pounds back.
Matt, the winner of Season 2, fell in20love with Suzy while on the show and the two married. They now have two children. Pete gained back 25 of the pounds he lost on the ranch. Even Season 3 winner Erik, the deli owner, gained back a few pounds. He now carries 38 extra pounds on his frame, but the 252 he weighs now is a great improvement over the 407 he weighed when he came on the show.
Season 3 at home winner Brian left he show weighing 156. He did regain 47 pounds, but that still puts him 105 pounds lighter than when he first came to the ranch. Amy from Season 3 is going to gain weight – but for a good reason. She and Marty fell in love on Season 3 and got married. The couple just announced that Amy is pregnant with their first baby. The two run a weight loss and self improvement business in Omaha, Nebraska.
While some of the contestants have gained back some of the original weight they lost, most are still striving to live a healthy lifestyle which includes both exercise and diet. Tune in on Jan. 6th to see how the newest contestants do!
