Biggest Loser Couples: The Big Finale!
Tonight on the Biggest Loser, it was down to Ali, Kelly, and either Mark or Roger. I really wanted to see Roger in the finale – both my husband and I voted for him online. And it must have helped – he was the top vote getter and was the third contestant for the $250,000 prize.
For those that went home, there was $100,000 waiting to be claimed by the person who lost the biggest percentage. Here’s how it went:
Jenny – came in at 267 pounds – lost 54 (now weighs 213) for a percentage of 20.22%
Lynn – came in at 409 pounds – lost 80 (now weighs 329) for a percentage of 19.56%
Amanda – came in at 204 pounds – lost 64 (now weighs 140) for a percentage of 31.37%
Neill – came in at 317 pounds – lost 88 (now weighs 229) for a percentage of 27.76%
Bette-Sue – came in at 261 pounds – lost 75 (now weighs 186) for a percentage of 28.74%
Mallory – came in at 217 pounds – lost 65 (now weighs 152) for a percentage of 29.95%
Curtis – came in at 381 pounds – lost 150 (now weighs 231) for a percentage of 39.37%
Jen – came in at 254 pounds – lost 64 (now weighs 190) for a percentage of 25.20%
Maggie – came in at 239 pounds – lost 70 (now weighs 169) for a percentage of 29.29%
Jackie – came in at 246 pounds – lost 89 (now weighs 157) for a percentage of 36.18%
Dan – came in at 310 pounds – lost 136 (now weighs 174) for a percentage of 43.87%
Trent – came in at 436 pounds – lost 135 (now weighs 301) for a percentage of 30.96%
Bernie – came in at 283 pounds – lost 130 (now weighs 153) for a percentage of 45.94%
Brittany – came in at 221 pounds – lost 57 (now weighs 164) for a percentage of 25.79%
Jay – came in at 293 pounds – lost 103 (now weighs 190) for a percentage of 35.15%
So, Bernie was in the lead, but still had to face Mark. Mark had to have lost 130 pounds to take the $100,000. I knew it would be close, but had no idea how close! Mark came in at 285 pounds – lost 129 and now weighs 156. I dunno what his percentage was because they were too busy celebrating for Bernie. That was tough for Mark to lose by one pound. He could have shaved and got a haircut and lost that extra pound!
Paul was ill and couldn’t make the trip. I wonder what is wrong with poor Paul. I know he had double pneumonia after he left the ranch.
So, it came down to the final three. Ali got to choose who went first, so she chose Roger. He came in at 363 and lost 164 (now weighs 199) for a percentage of 45.18%. Kelly, who I didn’t think had a chance, came in at 271 and lost 109 (now weighs 162) for a percentage of 40.22% I figured Ali had it (although I really wanted Roger to win). She came in at 234 and lost 112 (now weighs 122) for a total percentage of 47-something percent. Couldn’t see from all the confetti. So Ali is the first female biggest loser winner.
