Biggest Loser Couples: Trent Leaves
Dan still wasn’t happy that his mom Jackie got backstabbed last week, but he is determined to get all the way to the end. The Blue Team is disjointed after last week’s vote, with Dan angry and the other guys feeling guilty. Bob tells Dan he still has him, but Dan decides to try to reunite the team, even if he really isn’t feeling it. The guys get together and Mark and Jay apologize. They decide to be honest and to communicate then they all hug it out.
Bernie, as the Biggest Loser of the Week, chose gameplay. It cames in handy during the challenge, in which two duos from each team had to hold their own weight above water while on balance beams. Bernie got 50% off of his weight as part of his reward and the 62 pounds he and Brittany had to hold was much easier than the 100+ pounds the two Blue teams had to hold, so Black won. Their reward was they got to choose one member for their team to receive immunity and one member from the other team. For their team, they pulled names out of a hat at Jillian’s suggestion and Maggie received immunity. For the Blue Team, they chose Jay.
Jillian’s mom, a psychoanalyst, showed up to talk to the Black team and try to figure out why they eat. Bob didn’t seem to put much stock into talking it out and offered the Blue team psychotherapy or a hike. The guys chose the hike.
At the weigh-in, Paul put up the biggest number for the Black team with a 10 pound loss. In total, Black lost 28 pounds or 2.54%. For the Blue team, it came down to Jay. He needed to lose 5 pounds, but only lost 4, so the Blue team (2.48%) lost by one pound. Bob was NOT happy about that and stormed out.
The guys all met and Trent volunteered to go home. Dan was thinking “Wait, this was how it was supposed to go down last week” but once the voting started taking place, the guys did send Trent home. In total, Trent lost 112 pounds.
