Biggest Loser Couples: Welcome Back Mark and Ali!
Tonight, the six remaining contestants got a surprise – the fourteen eliminated contestants were on campus and the guy and girl with the highest loss percentage were coming back in the game. None of the six seemed happy about this, saying they had worked hard. But so had the others! Curtis had lost 100 pounds, Lynn had lost 64, Trent had lost 105, Amanda had lost 46. But the biggest losers of those eliminated were Mark (he had lost 90 pounds) and Ali (she had lost 67 pounds). Since Mark had lost more, he got to choose his team and went with Bob again. The problem is that while the Blue Team welcomed Mark with open arms, Ali still saw herself as an individual working out with the Black Team. She even kept her Pink t-shirt.
Jillian was happy to see Ali, but the other girls weren’t. They were going through a bad time between losing Bernie and Ali coming back. Maggie was mindlessly eating and Brittany was just an emotional wreck.
The challenge was to peddle a bike in order to light up a series of lights. Each round, the last two people would be eliminated. Mark let the entire challenge up until the end. The entire Black Team was out after the second round and Mark and Dan were in the final round, with Dan winning. The reward was a second vote at elimination, provided you stayed above the yellow line.
At weigh-in, the Blue Team started out strong with Mark losing 7 pounds (he is down to 188 now – 3 pounds from his goal), but Dan was worried. He only lost 4 pounds for a 1.90%. It looked like he would be under the line with Brittany until the last person weighed in. Maggie had to lose 3 pounds, but she lost nothing, putting her below the line with Brittany.
The weird thing was, there was no voting last night. With just a few minutes left, they did a review of Maggie and Brittany’s journey, then ran the show credits. I was like “What?” until I saw the preview for next week that said they would vote first thing next week.
