Biggest Loser Families: Adam and Stacey are Eliminated
This week was the premiere of the newest Biggest Loser – Families! This time, they pitted blood against true love. Bob had four husband and wife teams while Jillian has four parent and children teams. Bob’s teams were Amy and Phil (red team), Ed and Heba (orange team), Vicky and Brady (brown team), and Adam and Stacey (green team). Jillian had a father and son team, Tom and LT (gray team), two mother and daughter teams – Amy and Shellay (purple team) and Renee and Michelle (pink team), and one father and daughter team, Jerry and Coleen.
After the first workout, doctors determined that Jerry, because of his risk factors, could only exercise 30 minutes a day. He and Tom both sat out the first competition. It was to go a mile up a hill to retrieve a banner that offered some type of reward. The rewards included things like $5,000, a luxury item, two votes that night, and immunity. However, the last place team would not get a reward, but would have two pounds added to their total at the next weigh-in. Coleen was the first there and chose immunity to give her and her dad another week at the ranch. Vicky and Brady struggled and were the last team up, so they received the +2 pounds.
Everyone was in double digits at the weigh-in except Stacey, who just barely missed it at 9 pounds. Tom lost an impressive 24 pounds, Phil lost 23 pounds, and Brady outdid them all by losing 28 pounds. He and Vicky were the last to weigh, but even with the +2 pounds, they still lost more than everyone else with a combined total of 47 pounds. The green team (Stacey and Adam) and the orange team (Ed and Heba) were under the line.
The team got together and voted and Stacey and Adam were eliminated.
