Biggest Loser Families: America Chooses Between Heba and Ed
The Biggest Loser ranch is thinning down (pardon the pun) as only four contestants were left. Bob said it was time for the Blue Team to play his game, but that didn’t happen. He asked Vicky what she had learned and she said she learned about nutrition and exercise, but still didn’t know why she ate so much. I thought Bob’s chin was going to fall off his face.
Alison delivered the final four their old clothes and seeing how big they were, they all decided to burn them. The challenge was to run around a track, with each contestant wearing body weights equaling to his or her starting weight. As they stopped at 11 pit stops (one for each week) and they could remove the weight they lost that week. The winner got Biggest Loser meals delivered to their family until the finale plus $10,000. Vicky barely walked the whole time while Ed took off and kept the lead, so he and Heba won the $10,000.
After everyone reviewed their journey with their trainer, it was time for the weigh-in. Vicky lost 6 pounds, which I hated because I thought that was enough to get her to the finale. Heba lost 7 pounds, not quite enough to assure her a place in the finals. Then, Ed got on the scales. He GAINED two pounds. That’s right, for the final weigh-in, he gained two pounds. Fortunately, my favorite remaining player, Michelle lost 9 pounds, so she and Vicky were in the finals and Heba and Ed fell below the line. Bob knew Ed threw it to try to help Heba make it to the finals.
So, there was a surprise – America gets to choose who stays. It was all sweet and all – Ed pleading for America to keep Heba and Heba pleading for America to keep Heba, however, I voted for Ed. And, you can too by calling 1866-613-0002 or voting online at NBC. If this had been Michelle and Renee and Renee had been pleading for America to keep Michelle, I would have thought “How sweet!” If Ed had not tried to throw the final weigh-in, I might have bought it. But, I am so tired of the game play from the Blue Team. I hope America shows them that it too is tired of the game play and keeps Ed in the game. Then, I hope Michelle goes home, comes back, and wins the money!
