Biggest Loser Families: Ed is Sent Home

In the second Biggest Loser Families this week, we saw Amy and Jillian make up after Jillian kicked her out of the gym. Bob took his crew to Subway while Jillian talked to Michelle about her relationship with her mom.

At the weigh-in, the teams found out that once again, only one team would fall below the yellow line. If Coleen fell below the yellow line, she would automatically go home. It looked bad for her for a while as she only lost 3 pounds. All the other teams lost 8 or 9 pounds total, with only Amy P. and Phil coming close to Coleen’s 1.54% weight loss. That is, until Ed and Heba got on the scales.

It was bittersweet – Heba lost 8 pounds and Ed lost none. They needed to lose a total of 9 to stay above the line. Their best friends in the house, Brady and Vicky were the last team up and lost the biggest percentage with 2.3%, sending Ed and Heba below the line.

After talking, they decided the Ed needed to go home if they hoped to have children. He went home and continued his weight loss. Since coming to the campus, he has lost 85 pounds.
