Biggest Loser Families: Michelle Aguilar Wins!
This whole season of Biggest Loser, I have not really cared for Vicky or Heba. They both seemed mean spirited – well, at least Heba did initially although she backed off a bit after the Phil confrontation – yet they somehow managed to hang on longer than other people I liked a lot better. Tonight, justice was served, but not before a weird show of mishaps. We heard the backstage people talking, Ali had to repeatedly tell people to come off the scale, Vicky almost fell down the steps (okay, I did giggle when this happened) after she finally broke through the poster of herself – the whole show just felt off.
First off, everyone looked incredible. Stacy was a little bitty thing and Jerry, whom everyone was so worried about, lost an incredible 115 pounds. Instead of a health age of 76, he now has a health age of 52. Renee lost 106 pounds, truly making her a hot mama. Amy C. finished with a weight loss of 104 – she looked great.
Last week, I said that I was voting for Ed, even though he had pleaded for America to put Heba in the final. Normally, I would have thought it was sweet, but I was tired of the game play from these two. As it turns out, so was the rest of America. Ed was voted in to the finale over Heba by an overwhelming 84%. And that cost them $250,000. Well, actually, it only cost them $150,000 because Heba bet out Amy C. to win the $100,000 at home prize. She lost 138 pounds, only one less than Ed, for a percentage of 46.90.
Ed lost 139 pounds, but with an original weight of 335, that was only a percentage of 41.49. I will admit, Vicky looked like she had lost a lot of weight. She looked good and didn’t say anything nasty, which was a surprise. She needed to lose 102 pounds to move into first place. She lost 101 pounds. Again, I giggled.
At this point, I knew Michelle had it in the bag, but for the record, she started at 242 and lost 110, for a percentage of 45.45. That’s right; Heba lost a little more than a percent more than Michelle, but Michelle is taking home the big paycheck. The cute little girl from the Black Team who fought so hard to remain in the competition against the big, mean Blue Team won.
As I said earlier, justice was served.
