Biggest Loser Families: Phil is Eliminated
The contestants are halfway through this season of the Biggest Loser. Of course, Phil was upset about Amy leaving, but Bob was upset as well. He confronted Vicky and Brady about his 3 pound loss last week. They both denied any game playing (I still don’t trust them), and then told Bob that Brady wasn’t eating every four hours. Heba and the Black team confronted Phil while the Blue team was at dinner. They tried to turn the Black team on Phil, but it didn’t work.
The Blue team won the temptation challenge, which meant they got a 40 pound weight advantage at the challenge. No one knew what that was all about, but it meant that the Black team had to hold 40 extra pounds of weight during the challenge where teams were suspended in the air and had to hold their own weight. Blue lost, so the Black team got to choose whose weight they didn’t want to count at the weigh-in. They chose Michelle to sit out.
At the weigh-in, Michelle only lost 2 pounds, but then the Blue team decision wasn’t that bad – Renee lost 3, Coleen lost 2, and Phil only lost 3. I loved it when Amy C. said that “3 pounds for a guy sucks.” Really? Maybe you should tell that to your teammate Brady! I have never disliked a team like I do the Blue team. I love, love, love Bob and would choose him 100 times over Jillian, but the attitude of Vicky (who even Bob is suspicious of) and Heba just irritate me and Brady and Amy C. are not far behind! I really don’t want to see any of them leave with any money.
For the Black team, Brady lost 13 pounds, which single handedly beat the Blue team. I was hoping the others had gained weight, but most of the others pulled big numbers. Heba and Amy C. both lost 6 pounds, but Vicky only lost 2.
Renee was the Biggest Loser of the Week for Blue, so she was immune to elimination. At the elimination ceremony, Renee voted for Phil and Michelle went with her mom and voted for Phil too. Phil voted for Michelle, but Coleen voted for Phil, so he was eliminated – on his 20th wedding anniversary no less. He said he regretted “getting personally involved in the drama.” Maybe now Heba can let it go!
Phil went home to Amy and took her a ring. He asked her to marry him (again) on the same spot he asked her the first time and the two went upstairs and did it. He was able to wear his old wedding ring for the first time in 15 years. Since coming to the campus, Phil has lost 106 pounds.
