Biggest Loser: Jerry is Eliminated
Tonight, each person was tempted with food in the kitchen. But, there was a reward with the temptation – whoever ate the most calories got a 3 pound pass at the next weigh-in. The Blue Team decided Neil would eat to win the pass, but when he shook his head no as he came out, Patty took that as a sign that he didn’t eat and she ate – 1,930 calories – enough to win the pass. But, it made the team and Bob mad. Everyone eventually apologized, but the pass didn’t matter anyhow.
The challenge was for one member of each team to race a kindergarten kid, a 3rd grader, and a 4th grader. Whatever team won the most races would get to make a call home. The 4th grader beat everyone as did the kindergarten kid. The only one that won was Phil for the Red Team, so they got the phone call.
Bill went off on Isabeau because she was yelling for him to come down. Jillian had threatened them with an extra long workout if everyone wasn’t down there in a hurry, but Bill had hurt his knee in the competition. When Isabeau yelled, he yelled back – really, really yelled. But, he apologized later.
The weigh-in was a disappointment for almost everyone. Is it just me or do I remember bigger numbers being put up this time last year? The two people who lost the most weight were Jim for the Black Team and Phil for the Red Team – both lost 9 pounds. Not even anyone in double digits this week! The Black Team lost 27 pounds, the Blue Team lost 21 pounds, but the Red Team, with only four remaining members, won with a weight loss of 25 pounds.
The Blue Team had a secret vote before they went to elimination and oddly enough, they chose Jerry as the person to vote off. He was understandably upset – he was the team captain, had lost the most weight, and even though he was the oldest person ever on Biggest Loser, he was putting the hurt on the younger people. He said Kae should go because she had the least amount of weight to lose (she dropped under 200 pounds this week). In the end, all the girls were crying at elimination. Jerry changed his mind and said Neil should go. Kae cried, saying she had made a mistake in voting for Nicole. But Patty, Nicole, and Neil all voted for Jerry, so he was voted off. He said he didn’t think the biggest loser would be found on the Blue Team anymore. I thought it sucked that they voted him off, but he went on to lose a total of 88 pounds, which makes me think they voted him off because they were scared of him. Seriously!
