Biggest Loser: Jim Goes Home
The campus shut down, but the contestants got good news – they were going to Jamaica! Bryan had chest pains and had to stay behind to get a check-up, but fortunately, he was okay and able to join the Red Team there. While the Red Team was in the pool and the Blue Team was doing yoga, Jillian had the Black Team tromping through the sand…again.
The challenge was for each team to stand on a platform in the ocean. The first team member had to use a rope to pull himself to the beach while on a raft. Once there, the second team member got on the raft and the first one pulled him or her in. It repeated like this until the entire team was on the beach. At first, Bill, Phil, and Ryan all fell in, but Bill finally got the hang of it and pulled himself in. After that, it was a cakewalk for the Black Team. Neither Phil nor Ryan ever even made it close to the shore before the entire Black Team was there. Their prize was to receive massages while the other teams worked out.
Jillian jumped on Jez for wanting a drink. She kept reminding her team that they were not on vacation – so much to the point that I wanted to reach through the TV and slap her. At the weigh-in, the Black Team put up pretty big numbers. No one broke double digits, but the least amount lost was four pounds by Julie. Their total was 39 pounds with a 2.41% of weight loss.
The Red Team put up huge numbers! Kim told them they could have a drink if they wanted – they were adults and she trusted their judgment. David admitted he had one drink, but still lost 9 pounds – more than anyone on the Black Team. Jillian just sneered. Amy lost 10, Phil lost 12, and Bryan lost 11 for a total of 42 pounds with a 3.25% of weight loss.
The Blue Team, having been to elimination the last two times, looked worried. But Ryan lost 10, Neil lost 10, Nicole lost 6, and Kae lost 7 for 33 pounds – a 2.83% of weight loss, sending the Black Team to elimination.
Hollie and Isabeau wanted to gang up on the twins, saying they wanted a girl to win. They asked Julie to join them. She went to Jez and told him she would go with him, but what do they do. In the end, they decided to vote Jim out – a day before the twin’s birthday. That was cold. But maybe Jim had the last laugh – he went home and lost a total of 123 pounds at the campus and at home. Hopefully Bill can lose at much!
