Biggest Loser: Nicole Comes Back to the Ranch and Leaves – All in One Week!
The Biggest Losers got a surprise this week when they learned someone who had left in the first week would be returning. It was between Estella, David, and Nicole. Although Estella did well, it was obvious Nicole would win and get to come back to the ranch.
But, the underlying game play, stress of the ranch, and a brewing feud between Ron and Mike and Filipe and Sione killed her chances of staying and that was really sad. Ron had to go to the hospital after suffering chest pains. It was due to bleeding from his former gastric bypass. Filipe, Sione, and Kristin talked about the former alliance and how Ron said Filipe needed to go last week although they had always been tight.
Back at the ranch, everyone was driving Nicole crazy, telling her who to trust, who she couldn’t trust, talking up all the percentages, blah, blah, blah. She was just there to lose weight, but her weight loss percentage – second highest in the house – scared a lot of people, especially Tara, who has the highest percentage.
The weigh-in was like The Night of the Living Weight Gain as three contestants – Nicole, Laura, and Ron all gained weight. Ron blamed it on fluids from the hospital, Bob said Nicole’s gain was due to stress and I don’t know what happened to Laura. I thought Nicole was promised immunity, but I must have missed something because when she gained weight, the immunity disappeared.
Both Nicole and Ron pleaded to stay, but the contestant’s votes were split. Sione and Filipe voted to send Ron home, which caused him to say something about people looking you in the face and lying, which was a bit funny considering what he did last week. It came down to Kristin’s vote and she voted to send Nicole home.
It was bittersweet, but Nicole did go home and get into a size 12 wedding dress. If she can get back on her routine and start losing again, I think she has a great chance of taking home the At Home prize at the finale. Either way, she looked incredible.
