Biggest Loser: The Black Team is Back; Lezlye Eliminated
Tonight opened showing the Black Team working really hard. Jillian didn’t cut them any slack. They still had seven days before they went to the Biggest Loser Campus.
The challenge tonight was for each team member to climb 10 stories of stairs then come back down. The team that completed the task first would win. The Blue Team was in the lead the entire time until it came down to just Phil and Jerry. Being tired of being beaten by the “old guy,” Phil really put it in gear and just barely pulled out a win for the Red Team. The win was one person would get immunity. Phil deserved it, but they had to flip a light switch to decide and David won.
Amy walked out on the final workout before weigh-in. The rest of the Red Team was disappointed in her, but Bob was able to talk to her and make her feel better.
Everyone was surprised to see the Black Team waiting on them as they walked in for the weight-in. It was not a good week for weigh-in. Patti, Amy, and Hollie only lost two pounds this week. Lezlye and Julie lost three and David only lost four. Jerry, Neil, and Ryan each lost ten, but Bill and Jimmy from the Black Team were the biggest losers, with twelve and sixteen pounds respectively. The Black Team won the weigh-in, losing 47 pounds (2.40%). The Red Team lost, losing only 20 pounds, as opposed to the Blue Team’s 43 pounds.
Bryan lost the most for the Red Team, so he could not be eliminated. David won immunity, so it was between Phil, Lezlye, and Amy. I figured everyone would vote for Amy because she gave up during the workout, but she actually received no votes. Phil, David, and Bryan ended up voting for Lezlye. It was very close – Bryan was the deciding vote between Lezlye and Phil.
Although Lezlye was eliminated, she has lost a total of 55 pounds since appearing on the show.
