It’s was Ladies Night and some of them brought it but a few of them left it at home. We also found out little unknown facts about each girl. Tomboy Paris sang okay tonight – not great, not bad. Lisa loves Jimi Hendrix, yet chose a song that sounded like her “mum” chose it according to Simon. Car Freak Melissa got a “perfect” from Randy, “improving each week” from Paula, and a “that last note bought your plane ticket home – you’ve blown it” from Simon. Katharine has been one of my favorites, but I was not all the impressed by tonight’s performance. However, the judges were and even Simon said she would sail through. Kinnik shared that she liked to eat chittlins (ew!), her performance was very off. She got the “booked your plane ticket home” speech from Simon. I was more impressed with Ayla than I have been in the past, but the judges seemed to think her performance was just “good”. Mandisa is scaring me – she is just flawless each week – she seems to be the one to beat. This week, all judges agreed that she set the bar, despite the fact that she sucked her thumb until she was 24. Kellie, missing her “dawg,” was okay tonight. I have not liked her all that much, but the judges seem eat up with her. If what Simon says rings true, we will find that Kinnik and Melissa are leaving us this week. I would not be surprised to find Paris or Ayla in the bottom three though.
