Catherine Oxenberg
Catherine Oxenberg was born on September 21, 1961 in New York City, the daughter of Howard Oxenberg and HRH Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. Oxenberg grew up in London but returned to the United States to attend St. Paul’s School (a private boarding school in New Hampshire). She began her college career at Harvard, but later transferred to Columbia and began modeling. She has appeared on the cover of many different magazines.
Oxenberg made her acting debut in the CBS movie “The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana” in 1982 (playing Princess Diana). However, she is probably best known for her role as Amanda Carrington on the 1908’s nighttime soap opera “Dynasty”.
Catherine Oxenberg is currently married to Casper Van Diem (since 1999) and has three children: India (born 1991), Maya (born 2001) and Celese (born 2003). Catherine is currently the host of “American Princess“.
Oxenberg is no stranger to reality television, having appeared in the Lifetime Television reality program “I Married a Princess.”
