Chloe Dao wins Project Runway
Thanks to the beauty of marathons on Bravo, I was able to watch almost all of the episodes of this season of Project Runway on one day. Yes, I might have missed the first few episodes but have an overall impression of the show. First, safe doesn’t get you anywhere. Ask Santino Rice and he’ll tell you this. For the entire show Santino was over the top, putting his personality into everything he created. That is until the final runway show during Fashion Week. Santino played it way too safe. Compared to the collections put out by Chloe Dao and Daniel Vosovic, if he had been himself he would probably have won. Daniel’s collection just didn’t excite me. He did such a good job in most of the other challenges that his final collection was kind of boring. Chloe had been consistent from day one, and I think her consistency is why she won. Her clothes were very pretty, put together beautifully and well constructed.
