Dan voted off Exile Island

Tonights survivor episode started with 11 tribal members left.

The show began with Shane keeping the Casaya tribe awake by voicing his opinion that Bobby should not have been voted off. He was really going after Danielle and
Courtney and even voiced his opinion that he wanted off of the alliance. That was definitely no problem, because the consensus among all four girls was
that he can get his wish and even be eliminated.

Nothing much was going on with the La Mina tribe. They really look like a tight knit group of people who really just get along. While it was known that
Dan had worked on shuttles, they had no idea until he let it be known that he actually flew on shuttle missions.

The immunity challenge for this evening also involved a reward which was a barbecue dinner with a local Panama tribe and the opportunity to send a loosing tribe member to exile island. Their was a nice twist
with sending the person to exile island because they would be immune from being voted off the island this time. For their immunity challenge, 3 members
of the tribe would be responsible for retrieving 4 puzzle pieces. They would need to untie the rope to drop the puzzle to the ground, return the
puzzle back to the starting point. Once all 4 puzzle pieces were returned, 2 members of the team would assemble the puzzle.

For this challenge, Casaya choose Courtney to site out because their had an extra member. Shane, Aras and Danielle would retrieve the puzzle pieces
and Bruce and Cirie would assemble them. La Mina choose Austin, Nick and Terry to retrieve the pieces and Dan and Sally to assemble the puzzle.

The challenge ended with the Casaya tribe winning. The only member of the tribe that I felt could have done better was fittingly Shane. It
appeared that La Mina would initially win because they had retrieved their 4 puzzle pieces first, but surprisingly Dan had a tough time fitting the
puzzle together. I thought a shuttle astronaut would master this challenge with no problems. Casaya, choose Sally from the La Mina tribe to go to
exile island. This was an excellent choice because she probably would have been gone tonight. This would force the men to splinter their alliance.

During their barbecue feast, Shane wasted no time kissing ass with the girls. I think he knew that he made a big mistake opening up his mouth and
needed this opportunity to try and patch things up.

The La Mina tribe was open with each other in discussing who should be voted off the island. I think they were very shocked too that Dan had such a
hard time putting the puzzle together with him being a NASA astronaut. Even Dan himself agreed that he screwed up and should be the one to go. As
we expected Dan was voted off the island.
