Dana kicked off Rockstar SuperNova
Rock Star SuperNova opened up this evening with 11 rockers. Based on the previous day performances, the public voted for their favorite performers. Jill, Dana, Zayra, Patrice and Toby were the bottom vote getters.
The bottom 3 performers were ultimately Jill, Dana and Patrice. These bottom three had to perform this evening to fight from being eliminated from the show. Jill opened up with singing “Alone” by Heart. Her performance was right on the money to me. She got a standing ovation from Tommy, Jason and Gilby.
Dana was the second performer and sang “House of the Rising Sun” by the Animals. To me she was a good singer, but she just did not seem to sing the song strong enough.
Patrice was the last of the three performers and sang “Eternal Life” by Jeff Buckley. I really thought she had a strong performance and seemed to perform the song really well.
In the end, it was Dana that was choosen to be kicked off Rockstar SuperNova.
Just my opinion (Please don’t accuse me of being a sexist), but I just don’t see any of the woman performers singing for SuperNova. There is just such strong talent in the rockers that I can only see another male fitting into the band.

I agree that most women would have a difficult time fronting Tommy Lee and the rest of SuperNova. These are some really strong performers. It’s going to take someone with the stage presence equal to, if not stronger than, these guys to win the competition. At least that’s my opinion.

I thought that at first-that really no woman would be able to front this band, but I truly feel and have from the very beginning that Daila (or however she spells it), has the passion, the voice, the power and the stage presence to pull it off without any problems. She is the ONE!!!
I also cannot believe that Zayre is still on the show and myself and quite a few others I know are about to stop watching if they don’t shove a boot up her ass. She SUCKS!!! She cannot cannot sing a note.
