Dancing with the Stars: Cloris Leachman is Eliminated
After a hip hop routine on Dancing with the Stars, we learned that Lance and Lacy were safe – no big surprise there. Next, Cody learned he was safe, but Julianne was not there to hear the good news. In case you haven’t heard, she is having surgery for endometriosis, after going to the hospital after the last show. She will be back, unless Cody is eliminated next week with temporary partner Edyta.
We saw two cute kid couples dance – Craig and Samantha and Simon and Lucy. Simon and Lucy were good, but Craig and Samantha had a whole much more experience and all three judges chose them to compete in the finals of the junior championships. Next up was a performance by Missy Elliott and the Pussycat Dolls.
Warren and Kim were told they were safe then this week’s guest judge Michael Flatley did a really cool dance, half of which was behind the curtain. I was never a big Lord of the Dance fan, but this routine was great.
Then, Susan and Tony were told they were still in jeopardy. Brooke and Derek learned they were safe. Cloris and Corky were told they were in jeopardy, meaning that Maurice and Cheryl were safe.
It was between Susan and Tony and Cloris and Corky and as I suspected, Cloris’ number was up, even though she said “I’m not leaving.” She said she still wants to dress up in a pretty costume and sit “right over there.”
