Dancing with the Stars: Jeffrey Ross is Eliminated

For a while tonight on “Dancing with the Stars,” I thought the judges were going to give everyone a score of 21! The first three couples who danced – Lance and Lacey, Misty and Mark, and Maurice and Cheryl – all got 21s. But, Brooke and Derek got a 26. Her gown as gorgeous and they were great with their quickstep. I think Brooke is the one to beat so far.

But, Cloris as usual, stole the show. I loved when she said she was older than the mambo (it’s true!). Len cracked me up talking about her “coconuts,” and Carrie Ann thought she was very entertaining, but they only gave her a score of 16. Toni was not breathing properly when doing the quickstep, but she did well – Bruno compared her to a fine champagne. The judges gave her a score of 23. Warren did not understand the movement of the quickstep, saying “Who the hell thought of that?” which cracked me up. But the big man proved again that he can move. Bruno called it a “ton of fun” and he got a 22 for the night.

I liked Ted’s mambo, but Carrie Ann said he was over exaggerating the movements. Len disagreed saying it was commendable. Ted’s score was 19. Cody and Julianne were named the “King and Queen of the Prom” by Bruno. Len agreed that Cody showed a lot of maturity in his dancing of the quickstep and the couple received a score of 23.

The judges could not get over Rocco’s transformation from last night. Carrie Ann called it sexy and Bruno was almost speechless as to how much better Rocco was tonight. His score was 21. Susan and Tony were up next, meaning it was Kim and Jeffrey contending for the final spot. Susan and Tony’s quickstep wasn’t very quick, but it was elegant. Carrie Ann said it was so much better. Carrie Ann was weird tonight – she accused Tony of looking at her funny. Earlier, Tom accused her of signing autographs while Ted was dancing, then it was like she had to remember his name. Anyhow, back to Susan, Len said he knew she would do better with this dance. Her score was 22.

The final couple of the night to dance was Kim and Mark. Jeffrey and Edyta were eliminated – I said it would be a short season for her. The man gave his eye for dancing and this is the thanks he gets! Kim promised her mambo would be bootilicious. They danced to “Baby Got Back” but there still wasn’t the chemistry. Len felt Mark overdanced, but Carrie Ann took up for her after standing and waiting all night and having no performance experience. Kim’s score was 18.

Tomorrow night, someone else goes home.
