DeAnna meets her 25 potential bachelors

Tonight was the first episode of Season 4 of the Bachelorette. This evening DeAnna Pappas met the 25 potential bachelors from all walks of life who are going to compete to win her heart.

DeAnna is looking for the following traits in a man:

Caring
Loves Family
Respects Her
Makes her laugh
Someone who knows what they want.

During the party, DeAnna had the opportunity to get to know the potential bachelors. For the first time, DeAnna had three roses to be given based on her first impression of the men that she met. Jeremy, Jessee and Richard were the recipients. To help DeAnna in her decision process, Jenni the winner of Season 11 of The Bachelor was brought in to help interview the bachelors.

Having never watched the Bachelor or Bachelorette before I didn’t know what to expect of the party. It was sure interesting. Some of the guys reminded me of ones I used to see in the bars, looking only to score. Some of them were obviously just there for their 15 minutes of fame and didn’t give a damn about looking for love. A lot of the men made fools of themselves trying to get DeAnna’s attention and while some of them ended up with a rose a lot of them ended up going home. Like the guy who was making duck calls. He thought he didn’t get a rose because he’s with a guy trying to get DeAnna to feel up his abs and that ruined his chance for one on one time with her. Actually, dude, it’s the fact you were making duck calls that was the problem. I was very humored by a statement made from one of the bachelors – “You can him a necklace (Luke) and you gave him crabs (Robert). Ironically Luke went home and crab boy is in the running. Just shows that anything is possible.

At the end of the party, DeAnna consulted with Jenni and gave out the 12 remaining roses to Brian (Texas), Chris, Eric, Fred, Graham, Jason, Robert, Ron, Ryan, Sean and Twilley.
