Actress Denise Richards is gorgeous, as is her dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but the pair was voted of “Dancing with the Stars” on the March 24th episode.
Denise was born in Downers Grove, Illinois on February 17, 1971. She graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside, California, where she was the only girl on the baseball team.
After working as a fashion model, Denise began acting. She first appeared on television on “Life Goes On.” She followed that up with appearances on “Saved by the Bell,” “Married with Children,” “Doogie Howser, M.D.,” “Beverly Hills 90210,” and “Seinfeld.” Denise’s first movie role was in Loaded Weapon 1. In 1997, Denise landed her first starring role, in Starship Troopers. She followed that up with 1998’s Wild Things, which also starred Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon, and Naomi Campbell. She finished out the ‘90s with the films Drop Dead Gorgeous, The World Is Not Enough, and Tail Lights Fade.
After a guest appearance on “Friends” and the film Good Advice in 2001, Denise landed a four episode stint on “Spin City” as Jennifer Duncan. Denise got more films roles in Undercover Brother, Love Actually, Scary Movie 3, and Elvis Has Left The Building before making two guest appearances on her then husband Charlie Sheen’s show “Two and a Half Men.”
Denise posed for Playboy in December 2004. She appeared semi-nude in Jane magazine in July 2006 to raise money for the charity Clothes Off Our Back. She ranked #9 in Maxim’s 50 Sexiest Women in 1999 and ranked #2 in FHM’s USA 100 Sexiest Women. That same year, she ranked #5 in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women and #19 in AskMen.com’s 50 Most Beautiful Women.
Denise married actor Charlie Sheen in 2002. The couple has two daughters Sam and Lola. After only four years, Denise filed for divorce. The divorce was very nasty and very public, with both sides having harsh words for the other and Denise filing a restraining order against Charlie. The couple finally came to an agreement over the custody of the children, with rumors circulating for a while that despite the animosity, Denise had asked Charlie to father a third child. Denise also dated Richie Sambora after he separated from wife Heather Locklear. That relationship ended the friendship of Denise and Heather.
Denise became the star of her own reality series, “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated,” which chronicles her daily life and includes her daughters, younger sister Michelle, and father Irv. The show has been renewed for a second season.
