Dilana rocks to The Who
This evening of SuperNova opened up with 10 remaining contestants. Dilana opened up the night with an awesome performance of “Won’t Get Fooled Again” by “The Who”. The SuperNova band loved her performance. Second on the list this evening was Jill who sang “Mother Mother” by “Tracy Bonhan. I personally found the performance to be quite boring, but who am I because the band members liked her performance. Ryan performed “Painted Black” by “The Stones”. To me, his voice was there, but his stage presence looked almost goophy to me. I really don’t see him fitting in with the band. Next up was Storm, who I really liked. She sang “We Are The Champions” by “Queen”. My opinion definately changed concerning whether a woman could front the SuperNova band. Even Dave Navaro commented on the range of her voice. Zayra performed “All The Young Dudes” by “David Bowie. This is another person that I feel would be a good fit for the band although Gilbie Clarke thought her voice was a little flat. Josh sung “Interstate Love Song” by “Stone Temple Pilots”. His performance just did nothing for me and Dave Navaro. Magni who I feel is a very good fit sung “The Dolphins Cry” by “Live”. His grundge type look matches the other band members and the other band members really seemed to like him to. Patrice gave a very boring performance of “Instant Karma” by John Lennon. I ask who am I again, because the band liked her. Go figure. Lukas sung “Creep” by “Radio Head” and I have to tell you that I didn’t care for him although once again SuperNova disagreed with me. Closing out the night was Toby who rocked the house with “Burning Down The House” by “Talking Heads”. He received mixed emotions from SuperNova concerning his use of a megaphone during the end of the song.
I am leaning towards Patrice Pike, Ryan Star, and Lukas Rossi on ending up as the choice for the bottom three. At the end of the show so far the viewers have Jill, Zayra and Patrice at the bottom.
I really can’t wait for tomorrow to see who does not make it to the next audition for SuperNova.
