Down to Five
First, the big news I guess. Sara dropped out of the competition because she is going through a divorce. I am sorry to hear that, but honestly, I think she should have been voted off a few weeks ago. So what does this do to the show? Won’t it make have it ending a week sooner? I personally think they should bring Willa back as she got hosed last week.
Now for the dancing: Carrie Ann is grading Mario on a professional level and fortunately, he is rising up to it. He is indeed sinfully good. His 28 score was the highest of the night. Joey did pretty good, getting at 24, but was it just me or did he look like a Hare Krishna? Emmitt did well with jive, garnering a 25, but he is just too big a man to be bouncing around like that! Monique, the only remaining female contestant, got a low score with a 23. Only Carrie Ann though she did well.
And Jerry…what can you say about Jerry? I loved the part where he was bullfighting a calf and running and the dance was cute, but I am afraid his time is up with an 18. But, never underestimate the power of his fans and Jerry “I think I slipped a disco” Sprinkler did hold his own during the free-for-all disco segment.
