DWTS: “Be a Man!”
Fortunately, our cable stayed in service and I did get to see tonight’s show. Tonight was the samba and rumba. Ian and Cheryl got a total score of 24. Carrie Ann said he underestimated himself and Bruno said Ian needed to pull all the elements together. Clyde – poor Clyde! He reminds me a bit of Jerry last season – can we just put him out of his misery? I am sure he is a master on the basketball court, but dancing just isn’t and never will be his thing. Tonight, he and Elena got a total score of 13, with Carrie Anne telling him he was the worst dancer on the show. Heather had a scary moment falling at the end of her routine, but she and Jonathan managed to garner a respectable 21 (with each judge deducting a point for the fall).
I loved the Alfonso Ribeiro and Lance Bass showed up to support Joey. Can we see Alfonso next season? Please? I couldn’t pay much attention to Joey’s dance as during the whole song I was thinking “Isn’t this the song Sanjaya sang last week on American Idol?” but he did get a solid score of 25. The judges seemed please that John came out to have a good time dancing the samba with Edyta and awarded him with a score of 18. Laila stepped it up for the ladies with a score of 28. Bruno dubbed her “luscious Laila.” Apolo was hotter than a firecracker this week, scoring a perfect 30 for his dance, even though he said during practice, Julianne kept telling him to “be a man.” Billy Ray did a robotic looking rumba, but Len said he gave it 100% and the judges awarded him with a 17.
I don’t know who for sure is leaving but I’d think it had to be between Clyde, John, and Billy Ray.
