DWTS: Did they or didn’t they? Only the floor knows.

Well, the burning question of the evening was, did the dancers use lifts, or didn’t they?  With the way the show is letting little technicalities slide by, who cares.  I heard that in a Viennese Waltz, there were six turns to the left, followed by six turns to the right.  Did anybody see that done tonight?   Well, did anybody hear any Waltz music tonight?  Just because a song has a 3/4 beat doesn’t make it a waltz?   Has anybody at ABC ever heard of Strauss?  Didn’t think so.

Aside from the abysmal music and extremely inflated marks the fourth week of DWTS was very entertaining.  Please fans, put me out of my misery and vote either Floyd or Mark off the show.  Even though the judges deemed tonight’s performance, their best - if this is the best what could be worse!  It seems to me no matter which style of dancing Jane and Tony perform, it all looks the same.I was surprised at Mel and Max, their waltz was surprising well done; her tattoos were really distracting though.  Marie looks lovely with a little color in her costumes, and she did a fairly good job tonight; ballet classes help.  I have to disagree with the judges on Helio’s performance tonight.  He really seemed to be out of his element and very self-conscious with this routine.  My waltz choice - Marie and Jonathan.

With the exception of Floyd, who wasn’t that bad, just no where near the rest, the paso doble seemed to be the best dance for all those who performed it.  Sabrina and Mark were unbelievable as were Jennie and Derek.  Hats off to Edyta - who ever conceived dancing a paso doble to music from Superman?  Well, it was a ok for Cameron, he hit new heights in his performance this evening.  Even  so my paso choice - Sabrina and Mark.

Maybe ABC will find somebody in their music department who can put music with dances that have some sort of credence.  Waltzing to Mr. Bojangles, who flunked MUSIC 101.
