DWTS: It never ceases to amaze me!
The American Public never ceases to amaze and confound me. True, Ted McGinley has not had a role on TV since Faith and Hope, but I thought his fan base was large enough to keep him on DWTS for at least one more week. And Cloris - who in their right mind would vote to keep an 82 year old on such a physically demanding show? Didn’t Marie Osmond fainting last year mean anything, do you want to see a coronary in real time? I guess that’s TV.
If Jeffrey had done the quick step the first night, he probably would have stayed on a little longer. He and Edyta did a very nice dance. Way to go!
The first dance done by the pros was a pleasure to watch. Wasn’t it nice to see Derek and Mark tap dancing with the Jonas Brothers? Jesse Mc Cartney has a nice voice and really appealed to the crowd; and the aforementioned Jonas Brothers’ appeal goes without saying.
I guess Adam Corolla is going to be a fixture with his “Man in the Street” type interview. It was a nice change from the blatant promotion ABC usually does for upcoming shows to fill in the time. As I have said before a half hour show would be fine.
Well, it looks like this season will be another hit, it’s still nice to watch a show where people are enjoying themselves and not stabbing each other in the back.

Yep, it’s incredible that people want to watch Cloris. That kissing up to the judges routine got old the second night and now we’ll have to watch it AGAIN!? UGH! Sorry, but I switched channels immediately after hearing she was still in. I watched the Travel Channel’s show about hotdogs instead…and Dog the Bounty Hunter. More enjoyable. I did not care to see the Jonas Bros. AGAIN. Ho hum. The only reason I’ll keep watching DWTS is hopefully to see Benji Schwimmer in the audience and to watch Lacey and Lance. I’ll channel surf when Cloris appears.
P.S. I’m over 50
