DWTS: Monday Night’s Show
Monday night on DWTS featured 2 dances, the Samba and the Fox Trot, and 3 judges who would benefit from a dose of Phillips Milk of Magnesia!
Let’s begin with the Samba – From the sizzle (Gilles) to the fizzle (Denise) and everything in between. Let’s begin with Denise the Dull (I bet her motions weren’t this dull when she went after Heather Locklear’s ex) and Marvelous Maks. Awful Music- don’t you think they could use LATIN style music for a LATIN dance? What can I say about the performance, as much as I enjoy Maksim, time to leave. When Holly M pretended she was back in the Playboy mansion, she wasn’t too bad, but that was only about 3 beats. Dmitry is a very fine specimen and also a fine dancer. Once again MUSIC – Gosh Awful! Get a new Music Director. Don’t you think Edyta can make almost anyone look good? Notice I say almost. LT is not one of her success stories; Carrie on the other hand seems to have the hots for him, as she did for all the other football players. Speaking of Hots, WOW what a salsa from Gilles and Cheryl – almost x-rated. When he said his mother was there and actually saw that performance, I cringed. Well, she is French. Steve W. and Karina. He’s such fun and seems to be a nice guy. Did a better job than Denise, and that’s not saying much. Finally Lil Kim and Derek, great movements, top notch performance, but Derek’s hair was so distracting, I missed her wardrobe malfunction.
Fox Trot - I for one do not equate Classic and suave with a bull rider – wrong again. The dance Ty and Chelsea did was old fashioned and classic. He could make a significant move in the ratings with this one. He’s so cute. Barbie and Ken – oops I mean Julianne and Chuck did a mediocre dance to BAD music. It wasn’t much of a fox trot, but it could be used on their C &W concert tour. Now David Alan Grier is improving quite a bit. Keep you eye on this one, he and Kym could make a fine showing. Shawn and Mark were absolutely fabulous tonight; she is so great she could actually be a pro dancer if she works at it. It is hard to believe that she’s only 17. You go girl! Melissa and Tony gave a more “mature” performance than Shawn and Mark, no better, just as good as. Eat your heart out Bachelor Dude.
Last, and certainly least was the Fox Trot of Steve O and Lacey. It looked to me like he forgot some of the steps, and what he remembered he should have forgotten. The judges were again very unkind. Looks like either Steve W or Steve O will be departing the scent tonight. My money is on Steve O; so you know what that means.
