DWTS Monica and Penn eliminated - no surprises here
It was no surprise to anyone that Penn and Monica were eliminated in the first week. They should have been eliminated in practice. I am sure the professional dancers are totally embarassed with their performances. (Shades of Kenny Maine and Trista Sutter.)
When is ABC going to put on some decent programming and stop subjecting the public to rehashes of the rehash? For one whole hour we saw the previous performances, and yet again a peek at them during the show. I know the writer’s strike was bad, but ABC don’t you have some failed pilots in the can?
During the results show, Macy’s presented a Cirque production especially choreographed for DWTS. Please, I want to watch DWTS, not an ad for Cirque du Soleil. The guests, the Jonas Brothers, had an appeal for the younger viewers and the performances by the pro dancers Jonathan and Anna, Tony and Edyta and Louis and Cheryl were very well done.
Who will fall by the wayside with the performances of the Tango and Jive? Methinks it will be Adam. Could be wrong. Anyway, it will be at least one and a half enjoyable hours of television next week.
