DWTS on Reality Chat on the TV Guide network
While channel surfing prior to the Dancing With the Stars Results show, I came across a show on the TV Guide Network called Reality Chat hosted by Roxanna Tavaraz and Kimberly Caldwell. Their guest happened to be Ted McGinley, late of DWTS fame. In his interview he said he really wasn’t surprised he went home, and the nerves he felt during that first night performance were “beyond words.” He also said that Cloris Leachman was a very nice, edgy person who, as we have seen, has been know to push the envelope. While on, Ted also plugged the DVD “The Note” a Hallmark movie which also stars Genie Francis of General Hospital fame. Wouldn’t she make a great contestant on DWTS?
After commercial, who should come along but Edyta Sliwinska, one of DWTS professionals who has been with DWTS for 7 seasons. She was the partner of Jeffrey Ross, the first eliminated. Edyta is married to Alec Mazo, another of the DWTS professionals. She gave some impressions of the current crop of dancers, and one of her suggestions was that Lance Bass should show how he can adjust to ballroom and not do his “stuff” all the time. Another suggestion to Kim Kardashian(who was eliminated in the show tonight) was to Dance if no one is watching because she is so self conscious. Edyta seems to think the couples in the running are Brooke and Derek, Alec and Toni, and Warren and Kym. Of course Alec and Toni would be there. Would you believe Toni is 41 years old and has 2 kids! She also thinks that Cloris Leachman is really trying and sincerely wants to stay. When asked about Cody and Julianne, she said Julianne is bringing out the “man” in him and that they look like brother and sister!
Everyone also mentioned that they caught a couple of smiles sneaking in there when Warren Sapp was trying to be so serious during the Paso Doble with Kym Johnson.
