DWTS: Results Show
Despite the rumor on ESPN’s afternoon SportsCenter segment, Kim Kardashian will NOT be coming back to DWTS, sorry guys!
Once again we got the obligatory recap of last light’s show, hey if you’re watching tonight, you saw the dances. Maks and Edyta danced the jive that Misty would have performed if she had not been injured, and come on – never in her wildest dreams would she be able to perform it in any way shape or form like Edyta!
Tom and his sidekick Samantha began with the first two couples to be saved, and when I heard Cloris and Corky, I almost fell out of my Lazy Boy. Where exactly is the fan base to keep this embarrassment going? Hey, she could stay around as the Red Room Hostess or something, but pleeze!!! a dancer!!!
We were entertained by Kool and the Gang, who brought along their own dancers, and if I said it once I said it a thousand times, the DWTS pros are head and shoulders above any itinerant dancers brought in by the guests. Case in point, Julianne and Derek dancing to Jennifer Hudson’s song, they were unbelievable. Nice shoes, Jennifer.
Performing for Macy’s Stars of Dance were the one and only Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, What more do you have to say! There is no dance company to compare with their style and precision and all around audience appeal. Too bad they won’t be on again soon.
As pretty much all of us figured out, (ABC has to fill in the appropriate number of weeks), no contestant was eliminated. Misty’s accident took care of that. They did, however, hang the axe over Rocco and Edyta by letting them know they had the lowest scores; and next week both week’s scores would be added together to determine the loser. All class, and speaking of class, we could have done without Lance and Lacey’s “Fairy Fa–” remark regarding the judge’s criticism of their performance.
