DWTS: They’re back!!
After being subjected to numerous second rate, never mind second rate, third rate imitations, Dancing With The Stars is back, and I for one am thrilled!
The show opened with a performance of the pros to Let Me Entertain You, and they certainly did. Nice to see Louis up front and center again! Hey, didn’t Samantha look mighty fine in that black evening gown.
Now, to the performances, no doubt about it the “men to watch” are Cristian, Mario and Jason. While the scores were on the lower side, they have the edge, ok more than an edge on the other gentlemen. I don’t think that there will be a threepeat for Julianne. Adam Corolla kind of reminded me of Kenny Maine. Steve Guttenberg showed an enormous amount of enjoyment and enthusiasm, but that will only take you so far; Anna will probably drag a couple of weeks of performing out of him, but shades of George Hamilton, charm will only go so far. Poor Kim, looks like she got a Jerry Springer again. Penn needs more help than she can possibly give him in one lifetime. Hey, he is a lot of fun though!
Tomorrow, the ladies. I wonder what they have up their sleeves, or not, because probably the only one with sleeves will be Priscilla Presley.
