DWTS week 3: disappointing show
I have to say that the dancing on this week’s show was pretty disappointing. True, there were a couple of excellent performances; Apolo and Julianne and Ian and Cheryl really stood out with their jive. I have to hand it to Jonathan, he has done a magnificent job in choreographing material for Heather considering her physical limitations. The time has come for Maks to inform Laila that he is supposed to be leading. She is a good dancer, but that lady is definitely in charge. I don’t agree with the judges on Joey and Kym, that tango left much to be desired. John Ratzenberger is like George Hamilton after taxes, he puts on a good “show” but there wasn’t much substance to his dancing this week.
Clyde, you’re a nice guy, go coach a biddy basketball team. Shandi, try coaching for a teen age pagent. Leeza, I don’t think the Janet Jackson imitation is going to do it for you. Billy Ray, what can we say - you are improving.
Watching this group of stars compared to the stars of past seasons is like watching the road company of a Broadway show; there’s something missing. The level of dancing may eventually improve, but it is not even close to seasons past.
