George Wins First HOH
Marcellas, telling Erika he was not going to campaign against her, immediately started going around looking for votes. Danielle was torn between a promise to Marcellas and a friendship with Erika. Chicken George, despite receiving the slop free pass from Marcellas, promised his vote to Erika. Janelle promised Marcellas he was not going home, but I wasn’t really sure how she thought she could back that up.
We find out that Mike Boogie, with his “You reap what you sow” guess was the winner of the Coup d’Etat power. I was happy he and not James or Danielle won. It was announced to the other houseguests that there was a winner, but not who it was or what they won. Mike chose not to use his power this week. I loved it when Will said Chill Town were the Beatles of the house, with him being Paul McCartney and Mike Boogie being John Lennon. I picture Mike more as Ringo myself, despite winning the power.
As expected, Marcellas was voted out 6 - 0. He hugged Erika, told everyone else thanks and quickly left. But, Marcellas will be back as he is the first of the evicted houseguests who will return to vote on the final winner. Hell hath no fury like an evicted Queen.
The HOH competition was Prom Night. Janelle was crowned Prom Queen and the other houseguests had to guess whom America voted for in other categories. In the end, it was a tie between Chicken George and Danielle, with Georgie winning his first HOH. But things got even more interesting when Julie announced this is a double elimination week. George was asked to immediately name two houseguests for eviction. With little time to think, he nominated James and Erika. I love it!
