Gilby Clarke Quits Rock Star Supernova
I was reading on blabbermouth that it is rumored the Gilby Clarks has quit Rock Star Supernova. They are getting their information from ET Canada who are claiming that he is leaving the band that he formed with Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted and Lukas Rossi. In an interview with Lukas Rossi, he would not confirm this rumor but stated that a name change for the band was in the works.
To tell you the truth I am really not suprised. The band sold only around 56,000 copies of their Album. Never really had an interest in purchasing the album because the original songs that they played on the show really sucked. Jason Newsted has been out of the band since October of 2006 due to a shoulder injury from trying to catch a 90 pound bass head.
Am I the only one who saw this disasture from the start? I could just not understand why each of these talented rock stars would want to get involved with forming a band with an unknown singer. Sure, curiosity would sell some tickets, but in the end it is talent and chemistry that carries a band. No doubt this thing was just so overhyped from the get go.
