Going, going, gone…
Even though she was harshly critiqued, Monique said she was glad to see the judges judge her on her dancing and not her personality. Her second dance last week was so good, she was asked to do the encore tonight (for the first time this season). And she got her first 10 from Len last week.
Monique was the only female left in the competition. Tonight when they revealed Emmitt was safe, I thought she might be in trouble. But, Joey has been slacking a little, so I thought it might be his night. But, when the announced Joey was safe and it came down to Monique and Mario, I knew it was her night to leave. Len’s 10 was apparently the kiss of death for Monique as she was eliminated last night.
So next week, we get to see an all male semi-finals. They will have to choose their own dance (from one they have already done this season) and their own song. I am interested to see what they choose. The judges said last night Emmitt was “funky” and used his head to his advantage, plus he had Carrie Ann all hot and bothered with his hip movement last week. Len said Joey was the most accomplished ballroom dancer and had great footwork. And Mario, well, he seems to have wowed everyone with almost every dance he’s done, so next week should be a great show!
