Hammertime: Pops Visits and Hammer and Marvin Double Date
This week on “Hammertime,” Hammer’s dad, Pops, visited. The kids love him and Hammer and Pops decided to take the boys fishing. They didn’t catch anything, but did come home with fish. Sammy gave them up though, telling Stephanie that they bought the fish.
Stephanie got tired of Marvin coming over and eating her food and said she was going to fix him up with one of her friends. She had lunch with about five friends, but the only that that would bite on going on a blind double date with her and Hammer was Tira. Stephanie took Marvin out and got him new clothes, a mani/pedi, and had his hair done. At the guys poker game, Hammer told Marvin that if he could get a second date, Hammer would pay for it. But, if he couldn’t, Hammer and Stephanie were going on vacation and Marvin had to watch the kids.
The guys met the girls at a Japanese restaurant. It was a bit cold at first, but Tira seemed to warm up to Marvin. I cracked up when Stephanie said they spoke the same tongue and no one knew what they were saying to each other! Marvin moved in for a kiss when Tira was leaving but only got the cheek. She did agree to a second date, so Hammer has to foot the bill for that one.
