Hell’s Kitchen: Andy is Sent Home
The “Hell’s Kitchen” challenge this week was to make crepes. Unfortunately, there was just as much craps as there was crepes. With the score tied, it came down to Dave and Sabrina. Dave’s crepe looked like “a plate of diarrhea” according to Chef Ramsay, so the girls won again. They got mime lessons (seriously!) and dinner at a French restaurant while the guys had to prep.
Andy almost cut his finger tips off and had to leave for stitches, but returned in time for service. That wasn’t necessarily a good thing for him. He kept playing it off as being hurt, but Chef Ramsay pointed out that Dave had been cooking with one arm (and quite well other than the crepe) for weeks. Frustrated, Chef Ramsay eventually kicked Andy out of the kitchen. Over on the Red Team, both Sabrina and Suzanne were messing everything up. Suzanne was late getting stuff ready, then it was overcooked or undercooked. Sabrina served up tasteless riscotto then didn’t put enough garlic and scallions on the frog legs. Chef Ramsay ended up kicking both of them out of the kitchen and service was completed with only two chefs on each team – a first!
Chef Ramsay told the Red and Blue Teams to work together to come up with nominations. The obvious was Andy and Suzanne, but the girls really wanted Suzanne gone and knew if she went up against Andy, he would go. They thought about putting Sabrina up as a pawn, but she said she would tell Chef Ramsay she was only there to get Suzanne out.
They nominated Suzanne and Andy and of course, Andy was told to leave. However, Chef Ramsay also called Sabrina forward and told her he wanted the old Sabrina back. He then told Suzanne to take her jacket off and sent her to the Blue Team, which ticked the guys off. They didn’t want her either. It will be a miracle if Suzanne can survive next week.
