If you see some episodes of UK Kitchen Nightmares, however, you'll see that Gordon Ramsay is particularly supportive and encouraging of young female chefs - particularly as he said he "thinks long-term" in his business, I think that was the sole deciding factor. I'm not saying she isn't talented, just that I don't know if she has the experience to do it. Petrozza definitely had more experience in managing a kitchen but that doesn't mean he is the best chef either.
