Hell’s Kitchen: Jim is Eliminated
The challenge on “Hell’s Kitchen” was to create a three course meal that contained 700 calories or less. Both teams did well on the appetizer, but the Red Team won both the entrée and dessert category and got to spend the day learning to play volleyball at Venice Beach. Meanwhile, the guys had to take a goofy looking round bike up a hill to the grocery store to buy the food for the night then prep everything.
I don’t know if the producers are intentionally trying to kill Robert or not, but why would you put an overweight guy who had to leave the show last year for health problems on a bike and have him peddle uphill? He had shortness of breath when they returned and had to go to the ER. They kept him there, so he missed the dinner service.
Tennille still remained angry and it didn’t get any better this week. During the dinner service, Chef Ramsay yelled at her and she screamed back. At one point, he asked her to leave, but finally told her if she kept her mouth shut, she could stay.
Jim kept messing up the appetizers for the Blue Team and it was over an hour before they finally started getting them out. On the Red Team, Sabrina committed a big no-no by sending out raw pork to the diners. Andy’s halibut was raw then overcooked, so Chef Ramsay decided to shut the kitchen down.
There were no winners, so each team had to nominate one person for elimination. I cannot believe the Blue Team even entertained the thought of nominating Robert. They finally settled on Andy while the Red Team nominated Sabrina. When Van asked where Robert was, Chef Ramsay said it wasn’t fair to nominate someone not even at the service, but if he didn’t return for the next one, he was gone again.
Chef Ramsay also didn’t like the choices given him and send Jim home.
