Hell’s Kitchen: Louross Leaves
Jen continues to annoy both teams in Hell’s Kitchen. After the girls convinced her to go to the Blue team, the guys do little but fuss about her. And with good reason, she tries to run the entire show! The first challenge was to cook three different dishes that took three different times. Only one chef could be in the kitchen at a time and only had 15 seconds to tell the incoming chef what was done. It was tied 1-1, but Jen blew it for the Blue team by forgetting sauce on the dishes – twice! Chef Ramsay told her if she had remembered the sauce, they might have one the day surfing at the beach that the Red team got. The Blue team had to do kitchen maintenance.
For Hell’s Kitchen that night, Chef Ramsay told the teams to come up with their own menus. Jen didn’t want to listen to anyone and the menu was 70% her suggestions. But, when they told Chef Ramsay what was on the menu, he grimaced. He loved the Red teams menu, but said the Blue teams menu was hideous. Then he realized it was mostly Jen’s suggestions and told them to redo it.
Matt kept screwing up the pasta appetizer – even sweating in it (ew). He finally just gave up and Corey and Christina worked well together. Louross kept sending out raw filet mignon and Jen sent out a soufflé that was not done in the middle. However, both teams completed the service.
Chef Ramsay chose the Blue team as the losers, but Petrozza was the best of the worst. He asked him to choose two people. Well, there were only three to choose from – Bobby, Jen, and Louross – and Bobby certainly didn’t belong there. Petrozza chose Jen and Louross, but then Chef Ramsay did something he has never done before – he asked Petrozza who should go. After thinking about it for a minute, Petrozza quietly said “Louross.”
However, Chef Ramsay was not through. He called Matt and Jen forward and told them to take off their jackets. Everyone thought maybe they were leaving to, but he was shaking things up again – Matt went back to the Blue team and Jen went back to the Red team. I don’t think either team was happy with that.
