High School Confidential: Crystle, Beth, and Gina
Crystle had a weird family life – her father had a permanent job in Thailand, so she and her mom lived in Kansas. Unless of course, her mother and sister went to visit dad and left 15 year old Crystle alone for a month. Seriously lady, we have laws in this country. I couldn’t believe they just left a teenager alone in a house. Anyhow, sometimes Crystle’s dad would visit, but you could tell he was clueless. He said he hoped his absence didn’t affect her and if it did, she’d probably say something. Good thing Crystle was acting like an adult because her parents certainly weren’t. Although her home life was less than perfect (she didn’t feel a closeness to her mom), she turned out pretty normal.
Crystle was outgoing – she played instruments, sang, and she also was into modeling, which she just viewed as a way to earn money for school. Crystle’s best friends were Beth and Gina. Beth joined her in modeling for a while, but grew tired of it.
After all three girls took a trip to Thailand to visit her family, they decided they could never live together. Tension grew after the trip and when Crystle decided to go to KU (where her boyfriend Tyler, whom she had been dating for four years, was going), Beth and Gina decided to live together off campus, but failed to tell Crystle. She felt a bit left out, but they all hoped it wouldn’t hurt their friendship.
Amazingly enough, although Crystle was left on her own at times, she didn’t get into drinking or partying. She did eventually have sex with Tyler, but just said her view of things had changed. Her dad hoped she would tire of Tyler and leave KU to go somewhere else as she had always been a straight A student.
